(EVERGREEN PLAZA SHOPPING CENTER) Phase 1 of code upgrade to 2 buildings located in the southeast corner of the site per approved plans on file. The buildings have been reviewed for allowable area as one building of V-1 Hour Construction with sufficient yards to double allowable area and of mixed occupancy uses's based on past and future intended occupancy groups, "A3 / B / E-3" declared by architect. Work to include installation of 5/8", Type 'X' Sheetrock on the interior ceiling areas & exterior soffits (to have 2 layers horizontal, combination of existing & new), to wrap glu-lam beams, frame and wrap columns and upgrade walls of the building as needed to comply with the 1-hour required construction type classification. To protect all penetrations and openings in the 1-hour roof ceiling assembly per the manufacture's approved listed, labeled, fire stop system to include 2 x framing at ducts with sheetrock wrap return on framing before installation of fire damper assemblies per SMACNA Guidelines. There are no openings in the exterior soffit . All required ventillation will be through the roof system by mechanical means. To install a new footing, column, glu-lam beams, roof framing, soffit, facia, framing and sheetrock cover for 1-hour construction, at each corner of the existing building to match the existing roof line. Verify / Provide Attic Draft Stops at maximum 60 feet spacing in all directions per code. NOTE: THIS PERMIT COVERS PHASE 1 UPGRADE OF 3021 N. COLE ROAD ONLY. 3019 N. Cole Road, Phase 2, per letter of agreement on file, will be upgraded to 1-hour & roof over build within a one year time from the issuance of this permit or before if a tenant is found to occupy the building or portion thereof. A separate submittal of application and plans are required for Phase 2 before any work can begin. THE SCOPE OF THIS PERMIT DOES NOT ALLOW OR DECLARE ANY OCCUPANCY OR USE FOR THESE BUILDINGS.
