Description
This project is for the repair of water damage in the basement of an existing 1-story single family dwelling. Work to include the upgrade of two non complying rooms used as bedrooms to have full code complying egress windows and natural light for same. The family room and the mechanical room do not meet the requirements for natural light and ventillation per 1997 UBC 1203.1 and 3.2. Battery powered smoke detectors per UBC 310.9 are required throughout the dwelling. The door from the family room to the large unfinished room to be removed. Wall to be constructed to seperate the mech room from the other rooms in the basement. All to be per the approved plan as noted. R-1B zone confirmed per rhj pep
