To perform selective demolition and remodel of an 4,032 (original scope was 8,440 sq. ft.) area for Chest Paine Unit as examination / treatment rooms as a support area for the new East Tower expansion of the Emergency Room Services per notes and plan review comments of all reviewng agencies, all part of the approved plans. Work to include construction of non-combustible, fire-resistive, non-bearing walls to create the exam rooms; 1-hour exit corridor; occupancy separations to create "Suites per section 1007.5.9 & Tbl 3-c, '97 UBC; extension & upgrade to meet needs of tenant and for code compliance of the electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler and alarm system per current adopted codes. NOTE: This building is fully sprinklered and alarmed. A "Letter of Completion/Compliance" is required as a condition of this permit before the remodel area is approved for hospital use, occupancy or activities.
