1. FOOTING FROST PROTECTION - Footings and foundations shall be constructed of masonry, concrete or treated wood and shall extend a minimum of 24 inches below finished grade for frost protection. Footings of concrete and masonry shall be of solid material. Foundations supporting wood shall extend at least 6 inches above the adjacent finish grade. 1994 UBC 1806.1 & Boise City Code 4-02-15 expose to verify depth and size.
