Lawton Apatments * To add a 18' X 18' noncombustible carport to an existing 4 bay carport, additional work in the existing 5 buildings unit are on first floor units which includes enlarging the interior doorways to accomodate 34" passage doors at interior nonload bearing walls, replace exterior 60" sliding glass door with 36" patio door with sidelight, add cane rail protection under exterior stair. These modifications are not intended to meet UBC Type "B" dwelling unit requirements but have been directed by HUD to meet Fair Housing requirements. All construction per the approved plans and attached engineering calculations and design for the carport. MJP
