this project is fopr the removal of an existing dormer type roof system of an existing 2000 s.f. 2-story single family dwelling. The knee walls are to be removed and replaced with with full height walls that will add 150s.f. of habitable space to the 2nd level; and new attic style trusses are to be used to create a non habitable 691s.f. storage attic space accessed by a drop ladder or stairway. For this space to be made habitable there must be 2 (two) stairs off of this level. Seperate permits are required if the attic area is to be used for other than storage.
