(MATTER ARCHITECTURE)(EVERGREEN PLAZA)(Occupancy Use Change, 'E-3' to 'B') To alter occupancy use of an existing 10,416 sq.ft. tenant space from and "E-3" Daycare to a "B" Architect Office. Scope of work involves removal of alarm system that was required for daycare. All exit doors, signs, illumination, emergency lighting & panic hardware in place for the daycare will remain. Classrooms will be changed to offices & conference room. A request to use Section 3405.1, 2000 IBC, asking the building official to declare the "B" occupancy use change as less hazardous for 'life safety and fire risk' than the "E3" occupancy was granted. Copy of approval letter attached to plans. Occupancy use can be changed without conforming to requirements of 2000 IBC. drs
