This project is for the 2nd phase of a project of enclosing a covered patio to create a new 320s.f. NON CONDITIONED. PATIO / SUNROOM. the 1st phase walls were not constructed per plan and lateral bracing must be maintained for that wall per 1997 UBC 2320. New construction must meet lateral requirements per 2000 IRC R602. Lateral bracing must be confirmed by the Structural inspection division and also confirmation that this space is not conditioned or open to crawl or attic spaces, also separated rom the dwellings conditioned space by walls, doors, windows approved for exterior U-values to meet current codes.
