Work includes corrections to building to comply with the 1952 UBC, code in effect at time of construction. This includes repair to 1-hour occupancy separation wall between occupancy groups, reverse of exit door swing to direction of exit travel, separation of the basement from the main level with 1-hour construction & self closing solid core door. New work will include upgrade of door hardware and one restroom for accessibility compliance; exit signs and emergency lighting and new interior suspended mechanical units. drs
