(US BANK - 5TH FLOOR ELEVATOR LOBBY AND RESTROOM UPGRADE) This building is fire sprinklered because it is a high-rise. To upgrade the restrooms to be accessible to the disabled and to remodel the elevator lobby located on the 5th floor of an existing high-rise building. The area of the entire 5th story is about 14,520 square feet. Selective nonstructural demolition within the restrooms and the elevator lobby is also covered under this permit. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, ceilings, finishes, and relocated plumbing fixtures all per the approved drawings and the plan review report on file. The fire sprinkler system, fire alarm system, and high-rise life safety systems (and the infrastructure supporting these systems) for the 5th floor are regulated under the provisions of the 2000 IBC. These systems shall be upgraded throughout the entire floor to comply with current standards unless they are already compliant. If not already existing, fire-safing shall be installed at the perimeter of the 5th floor between the floor and the spandrel glass. **CJW**
