(ST ALPHONSUS CENTRAL TOWER)(2ND LEVEL CORRIDOR) A "Letter of Compliance" is required for approval for the use of this area. To construct approximately 105 feet of non-combustible, smoke partion walls & doors as an access corridor between the existing South & North Towers of SARMC. Doors shall have a positive latching hardware and be capable of resisting smoke transfer between the corridor and adjoining areas. To transfer all existing life-safety features for sprinkler suppression, alarm, communication, medical gas services, etc. from the existing pedestrian walkway link between the towers to be within this new corridor access between towers, constructed in accordance with Secs. 407.3 & 710, 2003 IBC for an "I2" occupancy. After the new work is completed the existing link & support structure will be demolished to allow the continued construction of the central tower to proceed. drs
