Customer signed exemption for RCE# (BOISE WINDOW TINTING - SOUTHEAST CORNER) This building is fire sprinklered for building area increase, story increase, and for fire area reasons. To create a 3,850 square foot tenant space (2,910 square foot 1st story and 940 square foot 2nd story) within an existing building. The 2nd story will be constructed under this permit and will be used as a caretaker's dwelling unit. Construction of the 2nd story will increase the floor area of this building from about 27,300 square feet to about 28,289 square feet. Work is to include a stairway within a 2-hr stairway enclosure to serve the 2nd story, 2-hr fire barriers (horizontal and vertical) to completely separate the 2nd story from the rest of the building, 2-hr walls and columns to support the 2-hr rated floor, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, interior nonbearing walls, interior bearing walls, interior metal stud shear walls, concrete footings, steel columns, a glu-lam beam, PSL beams, TJI joists, 1 1/8" floor sheathing, interior doors, interior windows, and interior finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, and all applicable codes.
