(BOISE FIRE DEPARTMENT - STATION 7) This building is fire sprinklered for building area increase and for story increase. To construct a 1,110 square foot 2nd story addition within an existing 21,230 square foot building (17,160 square foot 1st story and 4,070 square foot 2nd story). After the addition, the 2nd story will have a total floor area of 5,180 square feet. The building volume will not change. Work is to include concrete footings, steel columns, wood beams, wood floor joists, wood floor sheathing, shear walls, shear wall holddowns, and a stairway. The new 2nd story addition is located about 20 feet from the existing 2nd story area. There is no direct access between the two 2nd story areas at the 2nd story level. The work shall comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, and all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department.
