(JACK IN THE BOX) Minor remodel to an existing 2,843 sq. ft. restaurant building per approved plans. Work to include two new cased openings in interior walls in dining room, removing sauce bar and patching/repairing wall as required, removing and providing some new kitchen equipment, adjusting Type I hood air rates and total air rebalance within building, converting existing walk-in cooler to a freezer, converting existing walk-in freezer to a cooler, some minor mechanical work, and some electrical work. A certified cooking hood fire extinguishing system contractor shall evaluate the proposed cooking equipment modifications as shown on these plans and EITHER 1) Provide a letter certifying no changes are required to the existing fire extinguishing system, or 2) Obtain a Cooking Hood Fire Extinguishing Permit and make any modifications required to maintain code compliant fire extinguishing protection. The letter or a cooking hood permit shall be available onsite for review by the Fire Inspection at the time of inspection for this building permit. This is a Scope of Work Permit. A Letter of Completion is to be issued when done. NOTE: This building is not fire sprinklered. JCB
