"Winchester Condominiums" that was constructed in the jurisdiction of Ada County in the year 1980 and annexed by the City of Boise in early 1990's. As the structure was build under the 1979 UBC The structure is allowed to be V-N construction over 600s.f. by using 506(a) 2. with separation of 3-sides. and the total of the 2nd level of the structure is less than 3000s.f. (2520s.f.) 1202 (b) for R-1. As the remodel is of the interior nature no special rated construction is required as the separation wall at the adjacent unit is of concrete block construction that will not be altered.
