Approx. 18l.f. of non bearing partition is also to be constructed along with the enlargement of the existing opening that included the old garage house door. The old door can be re-used as long as it is solid core and self closing hinges are added to same. Double trimmers are required at the new header that is installed. Smoke alarms per R313 are also required. R-1C ok per Colleen Carroll as long as no parking spaces are eliminated. Separate electrical and plumbing permits are required.
