Work to include, removal of a portion of wall and replace with beam per engineering, electrical work for new equipment, the work involved in the warehouse area will be cutting stone, this building is fully fire sprinklered. Any Alterations or modifications to the sprinkler system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT. Other trades inspectors on site as well. c/n were issued from each trade inspectors as to what actions needed to be done. On framing issues, need engineering for hardlid to new office that was added, provide header over door, remove 2x6 rim against conc. wall and provide pressure treated wood. Repair trimmers at door by bottom plate, resubmit plans showing shed that was constructed in warehouse area or remove completely. If shed is to remain, it must be made smaller so as not to block one of the required exits and they must also remove vent running across required exit door.

Provide current annual inspection for all of the fire extinguishers, repair the emergency light mounted on the east wall, repair the exit sign/emergency light above the south exit door, provide sprinkler protection in all of the areas not shown on the plans which include a large office at the north end of the building, a plastic storage shed near the center of the building and the wooden shed inside near the south wall. Also provide updated approved drawings showing the new wall layout.

Contacted Perkins const. once again to notify them that this permit is still open. Spoke with James with Perkins const. He noted that they could not locate approved plans, but would get another set asap from city hall and get required finaql insp.

Spoke with John Perkins regarding life/safety and bldg. finals. Gave Mr. Perkins permit number so that he could call finals in. Also noted to Mr. Perkins that approved plans would need to be on site. Mr. Perkins noted that he would locate approved plans and call in and schedule required final inspections.
