(EKC RCE-6142) (IDAHO FOODBANK WAREHOUSE - ACCESSIBILITY RAMP ADDITION) To remove existing stairs, landing, railings and asphalt to prepare for construction of new fully accessible ramp meeting requirements of Section 1010, 2003 IBC and Sec. 405 ICC/ANSI A117.1-98, applying the most restrictive requirements of both codes. Work includes construction of new concrete landings, curb edge protection and handrails. The top landing at existing access / egress door into the building has a 6' clear width inside the curbs and minimum 18" clear on the latch, pull side of the door; the intermediate landing as per plan and a minimum 5' landing at the bottom of ramp in the direction of travel and the width of the ramp served. The elevation above grade is shown as less than 30" from grade to top of landing at door so guards are not required. Handrails shall be as shown on plans. drs
