Description |
This project is for the repair of fire damage to an existing single family dwelling. As the fire was adjacent to a required 1-hour property line wall 5/8 type x drywall is to be installed to the roof deck at the gable end truss; the nearest wall of the fire place chase to the property line to be 1-hour, 5/8 type X on the sofit area within 3'-0" of the property line, and all drywall removed from the common wall is to be replaced with 5/8 type X drywall. There is to be fire retardent treated roof sheathing a minimum of 4'-0" from the property line where trusses are replaced. R-2 ok per Sue Hansen. All insulation is to be replaced with equal to or better than has been removed. All per the approved plans as marked and plan review notes. pep
