Work includes selective interior demolition and a structural modification removing 27' of bearing wall and replacing with steel beam and steel columns; shear wall per plan; to install two new fully accessible restrooms; an accessible drinking fountain; two reception counters in different areas with accessible 3'-0" long by 36" above finish floor portion at each counter; to replace existing 3/4 hour wire glass assembly on south wall of building with new 3/4 hour assemblies; repair interior finishes; dual switch controls for light fixtures; and special inspection is required for high strength bolts, welding and epoxy anchors. drs
