To perform select interior demolition; relocate and construct a new portion of existing 2-hour horizontal exit / fire barrier / smoke barrier wall to enlarge transcription area; to construct interior non-combustible, fire-resistive walls to create new accessible unisex restroom and a temporary work area during Phase I, to be used while Phase II remodel is completed, adding private offices, storage, employee lounge and customer service area; suspended ceiling grid, diffusers and light fixtures in remodeled areas; new accessible work desks, counters, sinks and service counters; electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler & alarm system modifications; and install 2-hour expansion joints at 2-hour concrete floor assembly and 2-hour vertical expansion joint for frame wall assembly.
