The remaining 8,481sq ft is permitted in conjunction with this permit under BLD07-02948. The area of the entire 12th story is about 14,520 square feet. The area of the lobby is approximately 2,630 sq ft the lobby was upgraded under BLD07-02000. Work is to include, construction of interior nonbearing noncombustible partitions, installation of quick response fire sprinkler heads to complete upgrade agreement for this floor. The fire sprinkler system, fire alarm system, and high-rise life safety systems (and the infrastructure supporting these systems) for the 12th floor are regulated under the provisions of the 2000 IBC. These systems shall be upgraded throughout the entire floor to comply with current standards unless they are already compliant. If not already existing, fire-safing shall be installed at the perimeter of the 12th floor between the floor and the spandrel glass.This building is fire sprinklered because it is a high-rise.
