Remove the items being stored in the west basement stairwell. Provide sprinkler coverage in the basement at the exit to the west stairwell. Provide verification that the sprinkler pendant located next to the supply diffuser in the open office area of the basement has the required temperature rating as per NFPA 13. Provide verification of emergency lighting for the first floor including the stairs. Provide exit sign in the basement, at/near the interior stairs, veiwable by the basements occupants see IFC 1011. Remove the thumbturn locks on the main exit see IFC 1008.1.8.1. Remove the manual flush bolts on the main exit see IFC 1008.1.8.4. If keyed hardware is installed they shall comply with IFC 1008.1.8.3. Remove the thumbturn from the west basement door. Keyed hardware is not allowed on this door. Comply with IFC1008.1.8.1 and 1008.1.8.4.
