Project information: Building History: This building was constructed under permit BLD1054143 as a 12 unit apartment complex. That permit was issued on 10/11/1994 and the final inspection was approved on 10/22/2005. The 1991 Uniform Building code was in force at that time.
Columbia Village Phase II. BLDG # 3 TYPE "A"
The building is a 5992s.f. 2-story with a 2996s.f. basement = 8238 total

This permit is for the repair of fire and water damage caused from an ignition source at the basement patio level of Unit 104, continuing up the vinyl siding to the underside of the main level deck/storage for unit 204 and beyond to the deck storage area of 304 and into the roof-attic area through the soffit venting where the trusses were damaged and are to be repaired over unit 304 and the entry area and stair roof area.
Damage to the exterior sheathing and siding is confined to the area directly in line with the fire source to the entry stair areas of units 104; 103; 204; 203; 304 and 303.
The floor ceiling assembly is to be ¾ gyp crete over ¾ t& g decking on 91/2 engineered floor joists with 2-layers of 5/8 type X drywall. The roof ceiling assembly is to be a resilient channel on pre-manufactured trusses with 1-layer of 5/8 type x drywall below. The original approved plans calls out 5/8 decking for the roof nailed @ 6" o.c. for the edges and 12" o.c. elsewhere. The exterior walls are of 2x6 construction with 5/8 type x gyp sheathing and hardboard siding in the entry ways, R-19 insulation and 5/8 type X gyp on the interior typical. Vinyl siding is allowed other than the entry/stair areas. The 204 unit the bathtub will be replaced and the proper floor ceiling assemblies will be required. Separate electrical, plumbing and mechanical permits are required. all per the approved plans as marked and final plan review notes. pep
