(PAK WEST - WEST END OF BUILDING) This building is fire sprinklered for building area increase. To combine a 4,557 square foot office/warehouse area (3,737 square feet at grade and 820 square feet on a mezzanine) with an adjacent 9,629 square foot warehouse area. Both spaces have been occupied before. A 12' x 14' opening will be created through the common nonbearing wall between the two spaces. After the expansion, this tenant space will have a total floor area of about 14,186 square feet (13,366 square feet at grade and 820 square feet on a mezzanine). Work is to include a new stairway to the existing mezzanine, interior nonbearing walls, interior windows, a suspended ceiling, and finishes. An egress path through the "staging area" will be marked on the floor with yellow slip resistant paint as approved by the Building Official. The phrase "EGRESS PATH - DO NOT OBSTRUCT" shall be stenciled at least every 10 feet on the egress path. Work also includes filling in an opening in the wall between this tenant space and the tenant space on the East side of this tenant space. This permit does NOT establish a Certificate of Occupancy for the East tenant space. The East tenant space is required to get its own Certificate of Occupancy. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
