BRIAN CAME IN ON 8-13-08 TO MODIFY PERMIT. THE EXTERIOR WALLS WILL BE SHEATHED WITH GYPSUM BOARD AND MAINTAIN THE ONE HOUR RATING. SEE ATTACHED ENGINEERING LETTER. (BSP) This permit is for the construction of a new two story single family dwelling with a detached garage. The detached garage is a total of 456 square feet and will have one hour rated walls per Gypsum file GA 8105 with 2 x 4 walls. The house has a covered front porch of 102 square feet and the main story is 809 square feet with one bedroom and two bathrooms. The second story is 626 square feet with two bedrooms and one bathroom. All exterior walls are built with 2 x 6 and the wall closer than five feet to the property line will be built per Gypsum file Ga 3660. The popout for the water heater and furnace will be moved to the rear of the house and has been approved by Josh Wilson with Planning and Zoning. The window in the bedroom will need to be moved but will remain an egress window. There is no res check as the builder is using the prescriptive R-values out of the IRC. Built per all approved plans, red lining and plan review report. R-1C zoning district, building setbacks and DRH06-00471 per Planning and Zoning. THE PERMIT HOLDER is responsible to comply with wall bracing per section R602.10 of the 2006 IRC. (BSP)
