All roof projections within the five foot setback are to be one hour rated per detail with two layers of 5/8 X gypsum. The popout for the fireplace that extends within the five foot setback will be a one hour wall assembly built per GA file 3660 and protected underneath with two layers of 5/8 X gypsum.
