Description
This permit is for the construction of a 380 square foot addition to an existing single family dwelling. There is also going to be some remodeling of the existing structure including removing the existing stairs to the second story and adding new stairs in a different location in the existing house. The result of the addition will be a new bedroom and new bathroom on the first story and a bonus room above the addition will create another bedroom. Also included in this permit is the construction of a 760 square foot detached garage. The main story is 380 square feet and used as a garage. Above the garage is finished area with a bathroom without a shower and storage space. Access will be through an exterior set of stairs that will be rated for exposure. Also the wall within five feet of the property line of this garage will meet the requirements for one hour rated construction. The roof eaves will also be rated to one hour per Boise City Policy by two layers of 5/8 type X gypsum board on the underneath side. R-1CH zoning district, building setbacks and CVA07-00055 per Planning and Zoning. Built per all approved plans, red lining, plan review report and attached engineering.
