(MONTEGO BAY) To correct building and fire code violations as noted during fire inspection dated 1/10/08, a copy is attached. Work to include, removal of concrete topping that was placed on wooden decks, remove enclosures that were constructed around exterior decks, install panic hardware on required exit doors as stated in report, replace exit signs and emergency lighting, replace exisitng wooden deck, guardrails and stairs with new construction, pour new retaining wall per engineering, construct new stairs and handrails for exit access from patio and dock areas, treat interior finishes with fire retardant application per listing, remove steps at doorways to make landings flush, to obtain a new Certificate of Occupancy when work is complete to occupy the entire first floor area, miscellaneous related work as required. Repair the electrical panel covers and provide latching doors as per the original fire dept correction notice. Repair the existing exit sign at the east bar area. Provide panic hardware on both doors at teh stir enclosure as discussed. Provide an occupant load sign of 60 for the sports bar area. Provide the fire retardant as per the original fire dept correction notice. Rewire the southwest exit sign to unswitched power.
