(ST. ALS - S.T.A.R.S OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY) Permit to convert an existing occupational therapy area into a mock kitchen and restroom area. This area is used to help people rehabilitate in an environment similar to a typical residential home (refer to attached document from owner). The sink, range, and tub do not meet the accessibility requirements. This use is defined as a B occupancy. Work to include: construction of interior nonbearing walls to convert an old occupational therapy room and an office into this new mock kitchen / restroom area, install sound barrier layer and insulation into existing office walls to reduce noise transmissions, installation of an accessible toilet, installation of shower not hooked up to plumbing, installation of new sink, installation of new millwork, and installation of interior finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the IBC. This building is fully fire sprinklered any alterations or modifications to the sprinkler system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department. **TLW**
