This permit is for the construction of a new single family dwelling that was started under BLD06-00736 which was abandonned by the original contractor. (SEE COMMENTS) This new dwelling is now within the 2006 IRC and new zoning regulations that require that the 2-exterior walls of the dwelling within 5'-0" of the property line be 1-hour fire rated and the projections "eves" of the roof at these wall lines project a maximum of 1'-0" into the setback area along with being protected on the underside with 2-layers of 5/8 type-x drywall with no openings.
