This project is for the addition of 896s.f. of living space to an existing single family dwelling. The addition will consist of a 423s.f. of basement living space with a new egress stairway to the outside and a 423s.f. addition to the upper level that will include the relocation of the existing kitchen to this area. The old kitchen area will be mostly for a new large storage pantry utility and bathroom. the use of this area is subject to the requirements of R303.1 & 2 except. 1 & 2. There will also be a new 329s.f. covered patio at the rear of the existing dwelling adjacent to the new addition. R-1A BSN ok per Colleen Carroll.
