(UPGRADE THREE RESTROOMS) Expansion of three existing restrooms for improved accessibility. One restroom serving two, (2) bedroom patient sleeping rooms will be enlarged from 3'-6" x 6' too become 5'-2" x 7'-6" with new 4' x 6-8" doors from each patient room to restroom. Relocation of wall required structural beams being installed above new doors supporting a new beam to support the room structure. Each of the other (2) restrooms serve 3 bed units. Construction involves relocating wall to make rooms deeper by 1'-6" to allow the installation of 4'x 6'-8" doors. All doors to have lever hardware and be openable from the egress side without keys, tools or special knowledge. Areas of walls and ceiling damaged by new construction will be repaired to match existing construction. Add new grab bars per code and remove existing sinks in two restrooms. Sinks in patient rooms will be used. Existing exhaust fans will remain. Separate applications, approvals and permits are required before any modification can be done to existing sprinkler or alarm systems as regulated by the fire department. drs
