Description |
(106 & 108 S. Garden St.) This building is NOT fire sprinklered. To repair two units of an existing 4-plex due to fire damage. Work to include: demolition work per plans; repair of fire and water damaged areas mainly in the kitchen and roof locations in the upper level unit and the water damaged ceiling in lower level unit; remove and replace the fire damaged roof sheathing over the entire upper level unit back to the partition wall of the adjacent unit; remove and replace the roof trusses damaged by fire except for the three trusses out from the partition wall which need cleaned and sealed; remove and replace the second top plate at the rear wall at the kitchen area; and all other work per the approved plans, engineering, and the inspectors final approval. Additional structural engineering calculations and design requirements may be required as deemed necessary by future inspections and the structural inspector. The installation of smoke alarms must meet IBC Section 907.2.11.2. A certificate of completion shall be issued when work is completed and a final inspection has occurred. **SRZ**
