(YANKE STORAGE CANOPY) To construct a 9,052 sq. ft., open sided, steel frame, roof & decking, Type IIB Construction, canopy to provide weather protection for large private vehicles and industrial equipment. The adjacent building to the west will share existing restrooms, drinking fountain and service sink for code compliance. An alternate request has been approved to allow use of existing CMU wall of the West building to serve as a 2-hour Party Wall. Property owners have provided letters of approval and copies are attached to plans and the permit. Work includes site preparation, forming and pouring of reinforced concrete support pads with anchor bolts for columns placed in concrete; installation of steel frame columns and bracing; special inspection as outlined on plans and the attached Project Start Up for Special Inspections form; installation of roof support ssystem, bracing and decking and closure strip from edge of roof overhang to the CMU wall to the west at the property line. All work to be in accordance with approved engineered plans, notes and all attached plan reviews of all reviewing agencies. There is no electrical, plumbing or mechanical proposed for this project.
