To replace counters, cabinets, and sinks within an existing 1,703 square foot “great room / activity station” that serves an Alzheimer’s unit in a nursing home. New appliances including a refrigerator, ice machine, an electric oven with cooktop, microwave oven, and dishwasher will be installed. The cooking appliances are approved only for warming precooked food and for cooking activities that do not create grease laden vapors. The appliances within the kitchenette will only be used by staff. The sinks are required to be accessible to the disabled with a side approach. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances.
