(Apartment Fire Repair) - To repair fire damage to an existing six-plex apartment building including units 101, 201, and smoke damage in the attic space above unit 202 of building A7. The second floor unit 201 where the fire originated requires structural repairs to pre-fire condition per plans and the engineers evaluation. The attic spaces above unit 202 and the remainder of the upper units suffered smoke damage. The lower unit 101 requires repair from water damage per the engineers evaluation report. All new and replacement drywall at the dwelling unit separation walls shall be of 5/8" type X drywall on each side and be constructed continuous to the roof deck. The installation of smoke alarms in each unit is required and be installed per chapter 9 of the 2009 IBC. All construction shall be per chapter 34 of the 2009 IBC, the approved plans, engineering, attached plan review report, and the structural inspectors final approval. A certificate of completion shall be issued when work is completed and a final inspection has occurred. This building is not fire sprinklered. **SRZ**
