***(PENDER VILLAGE CONDOS - Mechanical room)***This interior remodel project is for the conversion of an existing closet main level elevator lobby into a 2-hour rated elevator mechanical room. Hat channel and 2 layers of 5/8thpe X gyp are to be added to the ceiling of the closet (UL WIJ-2.1 for floor ceiling assembly)and 2 layers of 1" (inch) type X gyp ( UL U366 ) with H-channel / studs at the joints of the drywall (per the UL details attached) are to be added to the walls of the closet interior side. 90 minute rated double doors are also added to the closet. A surface mount smoke fire damper is to be added at the ceiling line over the vent fan housing and the vent duct will run horizontally through the 2nd level floor system to the outside.
