(FEDEX GROUND - INTERIOR REMODEL OF OFFICE AREAS) The fire sprinkler system is used to allow this building to be unlimited in building area. To expand an existing 3,243 square foot office area by 802 square feet into the adjacent warehouse area. After the expansion, the office area will have a total floor area of about 4,045 square feet. The expansion of the office area will be within the existing volume of the building. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, suspended acoustical ceilings, millwork, and finishes. In addition, 7 new overhead doors will be provided at the existing loading dock on the West side of this building to serve the warehouse area. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The foundation for a future building expansion is covered under permit BLD12-00574. This interior remodel permit does not cover the building expansion. All work that may be shown on the drawings that relate to the future building expansion is NOT covered under this interior remodel permit. The permit for the building expansion will be submitted later. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department.
