(Overland Bar) This project is for the placement of a new fully engineered cover structure with a a gated fence enclosure at the rear of the business to allow for customers to smoke in compliance with the city's new smoking ordinance. There is to be a new door cut into the rear wall to access this covered area. This new door is not intended for use as emergency exiting and is not to be designated as such. The required exiting from the new area is through an unlocked gate with simple exit sign on the gate. If there is a lock / latch added to this gate it must be openable with single motion hardware and also be marked not to be locked during buisness hours. Accessibility for this new "room" will be from the existing required rear exit door so that there will be no elevation change to enter this room from the outside.
