(PLANET FITNESS) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase. To construct interior improvements within a 14,835 square foot tenant space to be used as an exercise and fitness facility. The West tenant demising wall was constructed under permit BLD10-02227. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 2 combination toilet/shower/locker rooms accessible to the disabled, an assisted use shower/toilet room accessible to the disabled, suspended acoustical ceilings, about 66 lineal feet of exterior wall, about 41 lineal feet of storefront glazing, millwork, and finishes. A window opening in an existing masonry wall will be filled in with masonry. Structural work includes concrete footings, steel columns, and steel beams at new openings in existing masonry shear and bearing walls. In addition, the existing steel roof trusses will be modified to support the dead load from new roof top HVAC units. Special Inspection is required for concrete, welding, bolting, epoxy anchors, and perhaps for the EIFS. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, with the structural calculations, and with all applicable codes and ordinances.
