(ST. AL'S WOMEN'S & CHILDREN'S MEDICAL OUTPATIENT CLINIC) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area and story increase. To construct a 19,245 square foot medical outpatient clinic tenant space on the 1st story and to construct a 9,555 square foot medical outpatient clinic tenant space on the 2nd story (8,344 square feet East of the common corridor and 1,211 square feet West of the common corridor) of an existing 3 story medical office building. On the 1st story work is to include a concrete slab on grade, interior nonbearing walls, 22 single user toilet rooms accessible to the disabled, a single user toilet/shower room accessible to the disabled, interior doors, interior windows, millwork, suspended acoustical ceilings, gypsum board ceilings and soffits, finishes, and a new exterior door. A steel beam with lateral bracing will be provided to support the folding partition. Steel columns will be provided on both sides of the new exterior door to support the exterior concrete wall panel. Additional structural members will be provided to support equipment. Special inspection is required for welding, “Titen” anchors, and epoxy anchors. On the 2nd story work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 5 single user toilet rooms accessible to the disabled, interior doors, interior windows, millwork, suspended acoustical ceilings, gypsum board ceilings and soffits, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
