The air intake vent will be located on the north side of the building at an existing vault area and the exhaust vent will be located on the east side of the building. Miscelaneous mechanical and electrical work in relation to the heating and cooling system will also occur on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors. The east wall is located 12 feet from the property line where a maximum of 45% unprotected openings are allowed (a protected opening is being install with a fire damper for both the intake and the exhaust). All penetrations of existing rated assemblies are required to be protected. all work per the approved plans. This building is fully fire sprinklered for high rise provisions; any alterations to the sprinkler system will require a separate permit and shall comply with NFPA13 as regulated by the fire department.
