(HOFF BUILDING - 12TH STORY SHELL - SUITE #1200) Fire sprinklers used for high rise. In the past the 12th story, the 14th story, and the 14 story mezzanine have all been one tenant space. To create a common area on the 12th story, separate from the 14th story tenant space but used for egress and as a route accessible to the disabled by the tenant spaces located on the 12th story and 14th story. The 14th story and 14th story mezzanine tenant space was created under permit BLD14-00734. The common area will have a total floor area of about 1,329 square feet and an occupant load of 25. The common area will have 2 single user restrooms, a total of 1,008 square feet of common circulation area, and a 190 square foot conference room. The restrooms also serve the 14th story tenant space. The conference room will be available to building tenants located on other stories. The common area shall always have access to both stairways that serve the 12th story. The future 12th story office tenant spaces will have a total floor area of about 1,013 square feet and an occupant load of 10. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, new interior doors, and exit signs. Every occupant on the 12th story must always have access to both stairways that serve the 12th story. Locking hardware is not allowed on doors located on the path of egress travel. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. This is a shell permit and does not establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant. A separate permit is required to establish a Certificate of Occupancy. **CJW**
