This remodel to an existing 2000s.f. 2-story single family is to remove a 17' section of the rear bearing wall and replace that portion with a new beam. This opening will connect an existing non-conforming sunroom to the family room. This new area will need to comply with best methods to meet the energy code. The floor needs to be protected with a minimum or R-10 rigid insulation around the perimeter of the sunroom where feasible and R-38 above the ceiling in the sunroom. Any walls (opened) up on the exterior of the sunroom will have a minimum of R-15 insulation. Separate electrical permit is required. All per the approved plans as marked and the plan review notes. pep
