This project is for the addition of 300s.f. to an existing 3466s.f. 2-story single family dwelling along with the reconfiguration of the kitchen. The addition will be done by extending the upper level from an existing upper level overlook to the exterior clear story wall at the rear of the dwelling. All beams and foundation for same are engineered. ESC permit is not required due to the small amount of excavation but-A letter from the applicant’s geotechnical engineer indicating that the footing sub-grade is acceptable must be approved by Public Works prior to scheduling a footing inspection.
