This project is for the roof mounted solar array to produce hot water through a heat exchanger system in order to create potable hot water also using the heated water to heat an existing swimming pool. The hot water is proposed to be stored in an existing electric water heater with the electrical heating system removed. The applicant must produce proper manufacturer's details to the plumbing inspection division to confirm heat exchange requirements per attached remarks by the plumbing division prior to sign off of the project. Separate electrical and plumbing permits are required. Proper access to the roof is required per attqached. 3'-0" down from ridge and 3'-0" either side of the array for emergency access.
