This permit is for the addition of 864s.f. to an existing 2232s.f. 2-story single family dwelling. This addition will create a 288s.f. familyroom and a 576s.f. 2nd dwelling unit creating a Two Family dwelling (duplex) Per R302.3. in which the dwellings must be separated by a minimum of a continuous 1-hour wall from the finished floor level through to the roof decking.
