Description
(CORDILLERA APARTMENTS SWIMMING POOL) To construct an in-ground concrete swimming pool (maximum dimensions of 14 feet x 24 feet x 4 feet deep). The water surface area will be 336 square feet, the pool perimeter will be 76 lineal feet, and the volume will be 10,054 gallons. Work is to include a reinforced concrete gunite swimming pool (pool walls and pool floor), a concrete stairway to serve the pool, a pool ladder, handrails, a pool lift for the disabled, and pool equipment. Only one accessible entry is required for the disabled. This permit is not intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy although the pool is not allowed to be used until this permit is finaled. Compliance with the 2012 ISPSC is allowed in lieu of the 2012 IBC where the requirements are different. The restroom and pump room building that will serve the swimming pool was constructed under permit BLD14-03283. In addition, the swimming pool fence was constructed and the drinking fountains were installed under that permit. The swimming pool shall not be filled with water until the fence is completed. The pool shall not be used until the work authorized under permit BLD14-03283 is completed and a Certificate of Occupancy issued under that permit. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. **CJW**
