(SOCKEYE OFFICE, PROCESSING, AND WHOLESALE WAREHOUSE) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase, story increase, and for fire area. To construct interior improvements within an existing 14,806 square foot building shell and to construct a new 1,315 square foot 2nd story within the existing building shell. The building shell was constructed under permit BLD14-02643. Work is to include 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, an 80’ x 30’ keg cooler, interior nonbearing walls, interior doors, two interior stairways, millwork, and finishes. Structural work includes interior bearing walls and beams and headers to support a new 2nd story, a wood floor-ceiling structure with joists and sheathing for the new 2nd story, a wood floor-ceiling structure with joists and sheathing for the 2nd story mechanical equipment attic, and interior shear walls. Footings at bearing walls, trimmers, and columns are required to be located and constructed as specified in the structural calculations. Special Inspection is required for post installed concrete anchors. A battery charging station will be provided within the warehouse area. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, with the structural design, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. All electrical equipment shall be listed and labeled per the adopted Electrical Code with approval from the PDS Electrical Inspection Section. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
